AirText is a privacy-first messaging app. We believe your conversations should remain private.

Data We Collect

• Device Token: For push notifications only
• Room Codes: Stored locally on your device only

Data We DON'T Collect

• No user accounts or personal information
• No message content (end-to-end encrypted)
• No message history
• No location data
• No contacts or photos

How We Use Data

Device tokens are used solely to send push notifications when you receive messages while the app is in the background.

Data Storage

Messages are end-to-end encrypted using AES-256 encryption and are NEVER stored on our servers. All data is stored locally on your device.

Third-Party Services

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications. No message content is sent through Firebase.

We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the app (e.g., page views, feature usage). This data is anonymized and used solely to improve the app experience.

Data Deletion
